Anocha Suwichakornpong
Anocha Suwichakornpong is a filmmaker and producer. Her films are informed by the socio-political history of Thailand. Graceland (2006) became the first Thai short film in the Official Selection of Cannes Film Festival. Suwichakornpong’s debut feature film, Mundane History (2009), could be seen as a meditation about our place in the cosmos. The film is screened together with her second feature film, By the Time It Gets Dark (2016), which connects the earthly with the spiritual and follows various characters with changing identities.
