A full evening’s programme featuring the interdisciplinary avant-garde collective Black Constellation from Seattle (USA), with hip-hop innovators and musicians Shabazz Palaces, Stas THEEBoss, Porter Ray, Silver Jackson, OCNotes, Indian Agent, artist Maikoiyo Alley-Barnes and filmmaker Nep Sidhu.
The programme consists of a concert, a performance and a film.
Black Constellation and Metro54 present a kinesthetic ritual of sight and sound highlighting multidisciplinary artistic practices in collusion and communion with ancestral energies. Combining live improvisational sonic collaboration, video mixing, projection mapping and art objects, the collective will present a unique programme that invites the attendee to be both viewer and participant, invoking the rich history, present and futures of diasporic melanated peoples.
