Rully Shabara presented a workshop and choir performance centered around the Khawagaka mythos at Other Futures 2021.

Sound artist Bani Haykal, based in Singapore, is fascinated by the intimacy between humans and machines, and their relation to belief systems. A key word in his artistic research is the Malay word ‘semangat’, in both meanings of spirit and soul. In his letter to family and friends, Haykal reminisces about how to escape from the dungeons of big tech, who hold our spirits captive.
