Kariuki is beeldend kunstenaar, schrijver, oprichter en redacteur van het kwartaaltijdschrift Diaspora Drama, “celebrating creative and offbeat people of colour on the internet”. Hij woont en werkt afwisselend in Londen en Nairobi (Kenia). Zijn werk draait om autonomie, identiteit, het lichaam en internetcultuur.
