Crumbs is een post-apocalyptische liefdesgeschiedenis die zich afspeelt tegen het decor van een dierentuin, een bos en een bowlingcentrum in Ethiopië. Boven al deze locaties cirkelt een ruimteschip dat na decennia weer tot leven komt.
