​Anja Dornieden and Juan David González Monroy are filmmakers based in Berlin. They work together under the moniker OJOBOCA, practicing ‘Orrorism’: a simulated method of inner and outer transformation. Other Futures festival will present the Dutch premiere of OJOBOCA’s debut feature film, Her Name Was Europa (2020), which follows the bizarre history of the ‘aurochs’, an ancestor of the cow and the first documented case of extinction. In the 20th century, efforts were made to bring the aurochs back from extinction. The film will be presented on 16mm.
